At Jepordy LLC, we are committed to fast, reliable, and transparent shipping on every generator order. Below you will find everything you need to know about how we ship our portable, inverter, dual-fuel, tri-fuel, and standby generators across the United States.

1Shipping Destinations

Jepordy LLC ships to all 50 U.S. states and Washington, D.C. We currently do not ship to:

  • International addresses outside the United States
  • U.S. territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, Northern Mariana Islands)
  • APO, FPO, and DPO military addresses (due to freight carrier restrictions on generators)
  • P.O. Boxes — we require a physical street address for all generator shipments
Alaska & Hawaii: Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is available on select smaller, parcel-eligible generator models only. Additional transit time and surcharges may apply — please contact us before ordering to confirm availability.

2Order Processing

We process all orders within 1 business day (Monday – Friday). Orders placed after 11:00 PM CST (UTC −6) will be processed the next business day. Orders placed on weekends or U.S. federal holidays will be processed on the following business day.

You will receive:

  • An order confirmation email immediately after checkout
  • A shipping confirmation email with tracking number once your generator is dispatched
  • For freight shipments: a scheduling call from the freight carrier 24–48 hours before delivery

3Delivery Timeframes

Delivery method depends on the size and weight of your generator. Smaller inverter and recreational generators ship via parcel carrier; larger portable, tri-fuel, and standby generators ship by freight.

4Freight Shipping — What to Expect

Most full-size generators weigh between 150 and 600 pounds and ship via LTL (Less-Than-Truckload) freight. Here is what to expect from the moment your order ships to the moment it arrives at your door:

  • Delivery Appointment: The freight carrier will call you 24–48 hours before delivery to schedule a 4-hour delivery window. Please ensure your phone number is accurate at checkout.
  • You Must Be Present: An adult (18+) must be available at the delivery address during the scheduled window to receive and sign for the shipment.
  • Curbside Delivery: The freight driver delivers your generator to the end of your driveway or curbside — not inside your garage, home, or backyard. You are responsible for moving the generator from the curb to its final location.
  • Liftgate Service: Generators arrive on a pallet from a large freight truck. A liftgate (a hydraulic platform that lowers the pallet to the ground) is included free of charge for residential addresses.
  • Inspect Before Signing: Carefully inspect the entire pallet, packaging, and shrink-wrap for any visible damage (dents, tears, oil leaks, cracks). If you see any damage, note it in writing on the delivery receipt before signing — this protects your claim rights.
Critical: Inspect Before You Sign If you sign a freight delivery receipt without noting visible damage, the carrier and Jepordy LLC may not be able to process a damage claim on your behalf. Even if your generator looks fine from one angle, walk around the pallet and check all sides. If anything looks off, write "Suspected damage – pending inspection" on the receipt before signing, or refuse the delivery entirely and contact us immediately at Contact@jepordy.com.

5Residential vs. Commercial Delivery

We classify delivery addresses as residential or commercial based on the address you provide at checkout:

  • Residential: Includes single-family homes, apartments, condos, townhomes, and farms. Liftgate service is included at no extra cost. Delivery hours are typically Mon–Fri, 9 AM – 5 PM local time.
  • Commercial: Includes businesses, construction sites, warehouses, and properties with a loading dock or forklift on-site. Liftgate is not required if a dock or forklift is available.
Important: If your address is listed as commercial but lacks a loading dock or forklift, please contact us before placing your order so we can arrange residential-style delivery with a liftgate.

6Standby & Whole-Home Generators

Stationary standby generators (such as Generac Guardian or Cummins QuietConnect units) ship from the manufacturer or our warehouse directly to your address by freight. Please note:

  • Standby generators require professional installation by a licensed electrician and, where applicable, a licensed propane or natural gas technician. Jepordy LLC does not provide installation services.
  • Standby units typically require a concrete or composite pad, a transfer switch, and local permits. Confirm local building codes before purchase.
  • Some manufacturer-direct shipments may require up to 14 business days for processing depending on inventory and configuration.

7Warehouse & Dispatch Location

Orders are shipped directly from our warehouse in Reedsburg, Wisconsin, USA, or — for select models — direct from the manufacturer's authorized distribution center. Total delivery time may vary depending on your distance from the dispatch location.

8Multiple Shipping Addresses

We do not support multiple shipping addresses within a single order. If you need to ship to multiple destinations, please place a separate order for each address.

9Order Tracking

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number and a link to track your shipment in real time. Please allow up to 48 hours for tracking information to update in the carrier's system after dispatch.

For freight shipments, you will also receive a separate BOL (Bill of Lading) number from the LTL carrier, which can be used to track your generator on the carrier's website.

If your order has not arrived within the expected delivery window, please contact us at Contact@jepordy.com with your name, order number, and tracking number, and we will investigate promptly.

10Shipping Delays

While we make every effort to meet the stated delivery timeframes, occasional delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, including:

  • High order volumes during peak storm season (June – November)
  • Hurricane, tornado, blizzard, or wildfire-related disruptions
  • Carrier delays, dock congestion, or driver shortages
  • Incorrect, incomplete, or undeliverable shipping addresses
  • Failed delivery appointments or refused liftgate fees
  • Manufacturer backorders during demand surges

If you experience an unexpected delay, please reach out and we will do our best to expedite a resolution with the carrier or manufacturer.

11Damaged or Missing Shipments

If your generator arrives with visible damage:

  • Note damage on the freight receipt before signing — this is required to file a claim
  • Take photos of all damage (packaging, pallet, and the unit itself) from multiple angles
  • Contact us within 48 hours of delivery at Contact@jepordy.com with your order number and photos
  • Do not install, operate, or modify a damaged generator until we have inspected the claim

We will work with the carrier and manufacturer to arrange a replacement, repair, or full refund at no cost to you.

12Returns & Exchanges

We accept returns within 90 days of delivery for both defective and non-defective items, subject to the conditions in our return policy. Generators must be unused, in original packaging, and free of fuel or oil residue to qualify for a non-defective return. For full details, please visit our Refund & Returns Policy.
