Cancellation Policy

At Jepordy LLC, we understand that plans can change. This page explains how to cancel an order, the time-sensitive windows for cancellation, what happens once your cancellation is confirmed, and what your options are if your generator has already shipped.

1Can I Cancel My Order?

Yes. You can cancel your generator order at any time before it has been shipped. Once we receive your cancellation request, we will stop processing your order and issue a full refund at no charge — no restocking fees, no cancellation fees, no deductions.

However, generators are high-value, time-sensitive items: most parcel orders ship within 1 business day, and freight orders are typically scheduled for pickup within 1 – 2 business days. The sooner you contact us, the more likely we can intercept the order before it dispatches.

2Cancellation Windows by Order Type

Generators ship through different channels depending on size and weight, and each has a slightly different cancellation window:

Pre-Order / Backordered Items
High-demand models on backorder during peak storm season. No charge until the unit ships.
Any time before dispatch
Act fast for the best chance of cancellation Orders are processed within 1 business day. If you submit your cancellation request during business hours (Mon – Fri, 9 AM – 6 PM CST), we can usually act on it immediately. Requests submitted overnight or on weekends are processed first thing the next business day — by which point smaller orders may have already shipped.

3How to Request a Cancellation

To cancel your generator order, contact us as soon as possible using one of the methods below. Have your order number and the full name on the order ready so we can locate your order quickly.

Phone is the fastest path — we can usually act on cancellation requests in real time during business hours.

4What If My Generator Has Already Shipped?

If your generator has already left our warehouse or the manufacturer's distribution center, we are unable to cancel it at the carrier level. However, you can still return it under our generous return policy with no penalty:

  • 90-day return window from the date of delivery
  • We provide a free prepaid return label for parcel orders or arrange free freight pickup at your address
  • No restocking fees — ever, on any return
  • Your full refund is processed within 3 – 5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned generator

For the unit to qualify for a non-defective return, the generator must be unused (not started, fueled, or oiled) and in original packaging. For full details, please visit our Refund & Returns Policy.

Do not refuse a freight delivery as a cancellation method Refusing a freight delivery once your generator has been dispatched is not the same as cancelling. Refused freight shipments may incur carrier return-to-sender fees that we will need to recover. Instead, accept the delivery and contact us at Contact@jepordy.com to arrange a proper return.

5What If I Ordered the Wrong Generator?

Contact us immediately at Contact@jepordy.com or +1 (608) 360-1301 if you realize you ordered the wrong generator model, size, or fuel type. Common reasons include:

  • You picked the wrong wattage and need a larger or smaller unit
  • You wanted dual-fuel but ordered gas-only (or vice versa)
  • You wanted tri-fuel for natural gas compatibility
  • You realized the unit is CARB-restricted in your California address

If your order has not yet shipped, we can cancel it and help you place a new order for the correct model in the same call. If it has already shipped, our 90-day return policy applies — we cover return shipping, and you can place a new order at any time.

6Cancellations Initiated by Jepordy LLC

In rare cases, Jepordy LLC may need to cancel your order. We always notify you by email and phone before doing so, and a full refund is issued within 3 – 5 business days. The most common reasons are:

Out of Stock

The generator is unexpectedly unavailable, often during peak storm season when demand surges quickly.

Payment Verification Failure

We were unable to verify your payment method, billing details, or detected potential fraud indicators.

Address Cannot Be Confirmed

Your shipping address is undeliverable, restricted by freight carriers, or contradicts our shipping zones.

Pricing or Listing Error

A typographical or technical pricing error was identified before the order shipped. You will be offered the correct price or a full refund.

CARB Restriction

The generator is not certified for sale in California (or other CARB-restricted states) and cannot legally ship to your address.

Order Quantity Limits

Limits on high-demand generators during storm season to prevent scalper abuse and ensure fair availability.

7Refund After Cancellation

Once your cancellation is confirmed, here is exactly what happens:

  1. Cancellation Confirmed You receive a cancellation confirmation email from Jepordy LLC within 1 business day of your request.
  2. Refund Initiated Your full payment is refunded to your original payment method — no deductions, no fees, no restocking charges.
  3. Processed Within 3 – 5 Business Days Refunds are processed from our side within 3 – 5 business days of cancellation confirmation.
  4. Refund Confirmation Sent A refund confirmation email is sent to you once the refund has been issued from our side.
  5. Bank Posting (Additional 3 – 7 Days) Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take an additional 3 – 7 business days for the refunded funds to appear in your account.
Authorization Holds Are Different from Refunds If your bank placed a temporary authorization hold when you submitted the order (common on high-ticket generator purchases), the hold typically clears from your statement within 3 – 7 business days even without a formal refund — because the funds were never actually charged.
