Billing Policy

This Billing Policy applies to all orders placed on jepordy.com and is operated by Jepordy LLC. By placing an order with us, you agree to the terms outlined in this policy. Please read it carefully before completing your generator purchase.

1Order Acceptance & Right to Refuse

Jepordy LLC reserves the right to refuse any order placed through our website. At our sole discretion, we may limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order — particularly for high-demand generator models during storm season or supply shortages.

These restrictions may apply to orders placed under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders using the same billing or shipping address.

If we make a change to or cancel an order, we will attempt to notify you using the email address provided at the time the order was placed.

3Payment Authorization

By submitting an order, you confirm that:

  • The payment method you are using is yours and is authorized for use
  • Your billing information is accurate and complete
  • You have sufficient funds or credit available to cover the order total — including any applicable sales tax
  • You are at least 18 years of age and legally able to enter into this transaction

Jepordy LLC reserves the right to verify payment information before processing any order, particularly for high-ticket generator purchases. Orders suspected of fraudulent activity may be cancelled without prior notice, and your card issuer may be contacted to confirm the transaction.

4Pricing & Billing Accuracy

We make every effort to ensure all generator prices displayed on our website and in our Google Shopping ads are accurate and up to date. The price shown at checkout is the final price you will be charged — no hidden fees, no surprise freight surcharges, no liftgate fees for residential addresses.

In the rare event of a pricing error or technical issue, Jepordy LLC will notify you before processing your order. You will have the option to confirm your order at the correct price or cancel it for a full refund.

Sales Tax: Sales tax may be applied at checkout depending on your state of residence, in accordance with applicable U.S. tax laws. The tax rate is calculated based on your shipping address. Tax-exempt customers (resellers, government agencies, qualifying non-profits) may submit a valid exemption certificate to Contact@jepordy.com before checkout.

5Payment Security

All transactions on jepordy.com are protected by industry-standard encryption and processed through PCI-DSS-compliant payment gateways. Jepordy LLC does not store, access, or retain your full credit card number at any point.

TLS 1.3 Encryption

All data transmitted in transit uses current TLS 1.3 standards.

PCI-DSS Compliant

Payments processed through certified Level-1 PCI-DSS gateways.

No Card Storage

Full card numbers never stored — only last 4 digits for reference.

After a completed transaction, we retain only your billing address, shipping address, order details, and the last 4 digits of your payment card for warranty and customer service purposes.

6Authorization Holds on Large Orders

Because generators are high-ticket items (typically $400 – $5,500+), your bank or card issuer may place a temporary authorization hold on your account when you submit an order. This is a normal banking practice and is not an actual charge — it simply reserves the funds while we verify your payment method.

If your order is cancelled or refunded: The authorization hold typically clears from your statement within 3–7 business days, depending on your bank's processing speed. The funds are not charged unless and until your generator order ships.

7Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If you have a concern about a charge on your account, please contact us at Contact@jepordy.com or +1 (608) 360-1301 before filing a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We are committed to resolving any billing issue promptly and fairly — most disputes can be resolved in a single phone call.

Chargebacks should only be filed for genuinely fraudulent or unauthorized transactions. Jepordy LLC reserves the right to investigate and dispute illegitimate chargebacks. To support our disputes, we may provide the card network with:

  • Signed freight delivery receipts and proof of delivery
  • Order confirmation emails and IP address records
  • All customer service correspondence regarding the order
  • Photos taken during freight dispatch and any inspection records

Filing a chargeback for a delivered generator without contacting us first may result in restrictions on future orders, including being placed on a do-not-sell list.

8Order Cancellations

If you need to cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible at Contact@jepordy.com or +1 (608) 360-1301. We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests before an order is processed or shipped.

Generators with parcel shipping can typically be cancelled within 1 business day of order placement. Freight orders may be cancellable up until the freight pickup is scheduled — typically 1–2 business days. Once a generator has been shipped, the cancellation becomes a return and is subject to our Refund & Returns Policy.

9Financing & Payment Plans

Jepordy LLC does not directly offer financing or in-house payment plans. However, financing may be available through third-party services such as Shop Pay Installments, PayPal Pay Later, or your card issuer's installment plans, subject to their own terms and credit approval. Eligibility and rates are determined entirely by those providers — Jepordy LLC is not responsible for their approval decisions or financing terms.

10Changes to This Policy

Jepordy LLC reserves the right to update or modify this Billing Policy at any time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of our website after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
