At Jepordy LLC, we want every customer to feel confident in their generator purchase. If something is not right with your order — whether it arrived damaged, defective, or simply was not the right fit — we are here to make it right. No hassle, no restocking fees, ever.

1Return Eligibility

You can return any unused generator within 90 days from the delivery date. We accept returns of both defective and non-defective products, provided they meet the condition requirements below.

All generators sold on jepordy.com — including portable, inverter, dual-fuel, tri-fuel, and standby models — are eligible under this policy.

Generator Condition Requirements

  • Unused: The generator must not have been started, run, or fueled
  • No fuel or oil: The fuel tank and oil reservoir must be empty and dry (federal hazmat and EPA regulations prohibit return shipment of fueled or oiled units)
  • Original packaging: Returns must include the original carton, pallet, foam inserts, manual, accessories, and all included parts
  • Free of damage: The unit must be free of customer-caused damage, scratches, or modifications

Defective or damaged-on-arrival generators are exempt from these condition requirements and are handled separately under our Damaged or Defective Items process (Section 6).

2How to Request a Return

  1. Contact Us FirstEmail us at Contact@jepordy.com or call +1 (608) 360-1301. If your generator is damaged or defective, include clear photos of the unit, packaging, and any visible issues, along with your order number.
  2. Wait for ApprovalWe will review your request and email you return instructions along with your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number, typically within 1 business day. Please do not ship anything back until you receive RMA approval.
  3. Ship the GeneratorFor parcel-shipped generators: use any trackable carrier (UPS, FedEx). A valid tracking number is required. For freight generators: we will coordinate a free freight pickup at your address — no need for you to arrange a carrier.
  4. Receive Your RefundOnce we receive and inspect the returned generator (typically within 72 hours of arrival at our warehouse), your full refund will be processed within 3–5 business days.
Important: Get Your RMA First Do not ship any generator back without first contacting us and receiving an RMA number. Returns shipped without prior authorization may be refused at our warehouse and returned to you at your expense.

3Return Shipping Costs

We cover return shipping in all approved return scenarios — even for heavy freight generators that would normally cost hundreds of dollars to ship back.

4Refund Process

  • Defective, damaged, or incorrect items: Full refund including original shipping fees. No restocking fee.
  • Change-of-mind returns: Full refund of the generator purchase price. No restocking fees. All return freight costs covered by Jepordy LLC.
  • Refunds are processed within 3–5 business days after we receive and inspect the returned generator.
  • You will receive a confirmation email once your refund has been issued.
  • Depending on your bank or card provider, it may take an additional 3–7 business days for the funds to appear in your account.
  • Refunds are always issued to the original payment method.

5Non-Returnable Items

While the vast majority of our catalog is returnable under this policy, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons (defective unit protections still apply):

  • Generators that have been fueled, oiled, or operated
  • Generators with customer-caused damage or unauthorized modifications
  • Custom or special-order configurations not stocked in our standard catalog
  • Clearance items explicitly marked "Final Sale" on the product page
  • Used parts, opened accessories, or installed transfer switches
  • Manufacturer-direct standby generators after installation has begun

6Damaged or Defective Items

If your generator arrives defective, damaged, or incorrect, email us at Contact@jepordy.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue (the unit, packaging, pallet, and any visible damage).

Based on the nature of the problem, we will work with you on the most practical resolution — which may include:

  • Shipping replacement parts directly to you, often the fastest fix for minor issues
  • Coordinating with the manufacturer's authorized service center for repair under warranty
  • Shipping a full replacement unit at no cost
  • Issuing a complete refund including original shipping fees

Whether a physical return is needed will be determined on a case-by-case basis and communicated to you promptly. You do not need to return a damaged generator unless we specifically request it.

7Manufacturer Warranty Claims (After 90 Days)

If a defect develops after the 90-day return window, your generator is still protected by the original manufacturer warranty — which typically ranges from 2 years for portable units to 10 years for whole-home standby generators. Warranty terms vary by brand and model.

We are happy to help facilitate warranty claims with manufacturers including DuroMax, Generac, Westinghouse, Firman, Champion, Cummins, Pulsar, DuroStar, Dewalt, Powermate, BE Power Equipment, and Yamaha. Contact us at Contact@jepordy.com with your order number, the generator model, the date of purchase, and a description of the issue, and we will guide you through the warranty process.

8Return Address

All approved returns must be shipped to the address below. Do not send any generator back without first contacting us and receiving your RMA number.
